I have always been interested in coins and would like to know if there is a way to get into the career field of grading coins for a major company. What kind of qualifications would you need to get into that business?

I would say join a local coin club if you have not already. You should be able to learn more about grading coins from the people there than anywhere else, and you may be able to get some hands on experience as well. You might be able to get a part-time job with a local coin dealer. I would say experience and recommendations will be your best way to find employment as with any other business. Persistence will always pay off even if not as we expect.

Basically, you need to focus on more than money.
Any career that brings you compensation both financially AND in self worth is the one to take. If you focus just on the money end of it, you will NEVER find one that you really feel good at.

I’m looking to get a career in animation. Making video games, cartoons, shows (like Japanese anime), and even movies (like Wall-E). I haven’t finished high school yet so I’m wondering, how should I go about pursuing this right now? Any special classes or electives I should be taking at this time? Art collage for you. There are animation classes, though many of those will expect you to do a year of basic art and illustration first.
Before you apply you will need to put together a portfolio, if you are an amateur drawer, that’s okay, they are looking more for potential and progress rather than quality, drawing is a skill afterall, and if you are looking at taking a BA Animation, you might be facing 3 years, plus 1 year doing basics, plus maybe 1 year afterward if you wish to go to an MA. In other words, it will be plenty of years for you to perfect your artistic self.
Search for art collages and Universities near you, or abroad if you wish it, for at the end of the day you will have a hard time getting anywhere without the right degree.
Know that while animators, animate the characters, Illustrators are often the designers that create the characters and make the backgrounds, so if you that is what you want, then it’s Illustration you want to pursue not Animation.
But I assume you wish to animate. If you think animation is all 3D, you still need to know the basic of drawing, they teaches both classic and computer animation at collage these days.

No one can make a choice like that for someone else. if you are happy, then why change? Would you change because everyone else is or because it is now the “cool” thing to do. The trend in life now is to have 3 different careers, so keep up with the Robinsons? There is no set rule that says you ever have to change careers. That’s because, you don’t. It is all up to you and your want.
