what classes would I be taking with the Penn Foster Career in interior design?
Question by keep your head up: what classes would I be taking with the Penn Foster Career in interior design?
I haven’t finished my classes yet for Penn Foster High, but when I’m finished I’m planning on going on to their career college, and either I’ll be going in to interior design or Floral design (which in my old high school I was in Horticulture, floral, and landscape). So what classes, and what would I be learning, so maybe I could get a head start.
Thanks.

Ken Parker – Change Gonna Come.
Ken Parker – Change Gonna Come. Jamaican singer Ken Parker was born around 1948 (there is some confusion as to his birth year), growing up in Savannah-La-Mar in the Westmoreland Parrish area of Jamaica, where his father was a preacher. Parker was exposed early to the effects of gospel music, and he drew on gospel inflections in his vocals throughout his whole career. His first group was The Blues Benders, formed in 1965, but by 1967 he was a solo act, recording sides for most of the big Jamaican producers of the day, including Coxsone Dodd (“My Whole World Is Falling Down” was recorded at Studio One and was a huge hit on the island in 1969), Duke Reid (“True, True, True,” one of Parker’s finest sides, was recorded at Treasure Isle, as was “Jimmy Brown”), Bunny Lee, Rupie Edwards, Byron Lee, Joe Gibbs, and Lloyd Charmers (Parker recorded a fine version of Curtis Mayfield’s “Queen Majesty” for Charmers). In time Parker became somewhat disillusioned with the workings of the Jamaican music scene and relocated to the UK, where since the 1980s he has run his own label and production company. ~ Steve Leggett, All Music Guide

Q&A: What type of career field should i pursue?
Question by : What type of career field should i pursue?
i want to go into a field that requires me to travel alot in search of animal research. what type of career field is that? zoology? or wildlife biology?
Best answer:
Answer by jesusofnasareth
Try to find a field a long way away from where you live, this will require more travel regardless of what you do in the field. You could stand in the middle of your field, and it will soon come to pass that you will be a man outstanding in his field. If you choose a field at the top of a very high mountain people will think you are wise and come to visit for enlightenment.

Also can someone provide a link to the college or university page that deals with their renewable energy course.
Does anyone know about the course in Uvic? They have someone guy in their commercial holding a wind powered generator model.

Answer by Aaron Dalton @ 1GreenProduct
Congrats on pursuing a career that will probably be both lucrative and personally rewarding.
The Oregon Institute of Technology offers a degree in Renewable Energy Engineering.
University of Montana also has a very interesting sounding 2-year program that provides an Associate of Applied Science degree in Energy Technology.
You can find lots more programs listed by the U.S. Department of Energy – Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) division, but you may need to Google some of the programs directly as a number of links seem out of date.
Hope this helps!

Finding a career to be passionate about?
Question by redjasperlily@sbcglobal.net: Finding a career to be passionate about?
I am at a crossroads right now. I have taken about 50 career tests, have an Associates degree in Business, and currently work in the hotel business. I would love to find a career I can be passionate about. If anyone has any suggestions or stories to share on how they found their career that would be lovely.
Best answer:
Answer by Timeflo
Well, I am assuming that you are in your early 20′s. The one thing I can suggest is this. What ever it is you are passionate about outside of work – I.E. music, movies, food – use that to decide what you want to do at work.
I went through my 20′s hopping from job to job, then decided at the age of 30 to go back and get my degree. At that point, I was passionate about computers and technology – so I got my degree in computer science and have since been in the tech field for the last 10 years. I’m happy that I’ve done it and wouldn’t change a thing. Also, I don’t hop around from job to job any longer.
