What is the average salary of a D2 football coach?
Question by fresh fred: What is the average salary of a D2 football coach?
One of my teachers is a division two football coach. He coaches the secondaries. I was just wondering what his coaching salary might be.

Answer by cmow5
D2 is VERY hard to tell,
There are some damn good programs that pay very well and then some others that pay decent.
Most of the time they will break it up
like one or teo full time paid pos (most of the time they have to teach at the school) and then 3 or 4 part time pay/pos coaches.
I would say a DB coach at a good program is looking at 15-20 thousand at the most and a averge program 6 to 15 thpusand at the most
could be a lot less or more but with out knowing the school I cant really make a educated guess.

Q&A: What is the base salary I could earn as an Arts and History professor?
Question by Bullet Seed123: What is the base salary I could earn as an Arts and History professor?
I’m planning on becoming a professor in History, Philosophy, or Humanities. I would like to know the average and base salary for professors (from Instructor to Associate if you can) in the US. I know it all depends on the institution and state, but if you have any valuable information, I would appreciate any response. Thank you.

Position ads in academia don’t usually mention salary.
History and Philosophy ARE humanities subjects, just so you know.
This is something you can research online. I found the article below, which gives recent averages, but you need to recognize that these may include ALL professors, not merely those in the humanities. Faculty salaries in such fields as law, medicine, and business tend to drive up averages.
Note, too, that it takes about 6 years to achieve tenure and promotion to associate professor, and that’s assuming that you are appointed to a tenure-track position in the first place and that you are awarded tenure. It’s also worth pointing out that it’s taking 7-10 years to earn a PhD in humanities fields these days, so at a minimum, it would take about 13 years to become an associate professor after completing a bachelor’s degree.
Who knows what the academic job market and salary situation will be so many years from now?

What would you consider a good salary for certain ages?
Question by Captain Snuggles: What would you consider a good salary for certain ages?
What would you consider a good (obviously the definition of good can vary) salary for people of different age groups? For example, a 20 year old making 15k, a 25 year old making 35k, a 35 year old making 65k, etc. What salaries for different age groups would you consider successful or “making it.” Thanks.
Zippon, im asking the question in general. Obviously the location matters, but since there are about 1,000,000 cities in the US, you have to generalize.

IMHO, it depends on the person, really. A 25 year old making 30k might be fine in one situation with money left over, but another 25 year old with the same income could be struggling to pay the bills. Hopefully, one’s income should increase proportionally with their age, as they get more experience in the work force and more educated. If I had to come up with a range, I’d say 18k for 18-24 yr olds, 30k for 24-30 yr olds, 45k for 30-36, and a steady 50-60k for anyone over that would be reasonable. Also depends on the career field and family too, of course! More kids=more money necessary!

Redundancy and the Swedish Model in an International Context (Studies in Employment and Social Policy) (Studies in Employment and Social Policy Set)
This book examines a previously scantly researched example of the negotiated solutions for which the Swedish model of labour relations is well-known. In Swedish labour law, the dominant position of the employment perspective has resulted in a focus on the creation of protection against arbitrary dismissals and the reward for long and faithful service. In contrast to other industrialised countries, there is no financial protection in situations of redundancy (e.g. a statutory right

What is the average salary for a commercial pilot a year?
Question by ishan: What is the average salary for a commercial pilot a year?
I really want to become a pilot, but i am not familiar with the income of a pilot. What is the salary for a pilot, co-pilot, and an cabin crew?
Best answer:
Answer by aviophage
Most commercial pilots are not airline pilots. A new commercial pilot usually does mostly instructing, which pays around $ 12 to $ 15 per hour, with no set number of hours. A good instructor who gives instruction on a regular basis can make about $ 15,000 to $ 18,000, or just above the federal poverty level.
Other commercial pilots start out making similar hourly rates for various odd jobs: charter, pipeline/power line patrol, banner towing, ferry flying, and so on. The annual earnings will depend on how much you get to fly.
When a pilot transitions to a regional airline, the salary is similar; for example, a typical regional airline CFO earns $ 16,000 to $ 18,000. From there on up it’s a matter of seniority and opportunity. In the good old days, an overseas captain could earn more than $ 200,000 with some nice benefits.
The airlines find it harder and harder to find the money to pay salaries of that magnitude, so as the “ancient pelicans” retire, they are promoting captains at lower salaries. Sorry, but the popular notion that airline crews make big bucks is pretty much a thing of the past.
If you really want to make some good money, go into management or finance. If you want to fly, fly.
Good luck
